Bands & Choir Azelea Festival Awards

Congratulations to the Choir, Concert Band, and Marching Band for their outstanding performances at the Virginia Azalea Festival. All the performances were judged based on a festival rating and criteria that is used nationally. It is a three tiered rating system (bronze, silver, and gold) based on total score and NOT placement at the festival. The highest medals only being awarded to a small percentage of groups across the country. The awards that were received are as follows:

Concert Choir – 2nd Place, Silver Rating Concert Band – 2nd Place, Silver Rating Marching Band – 1st Place, Gold Rating, Best Overall Music, Best Overall Marching, Grand Champions
