We would like to thank parents that have made donations to Music Sponsors South this season. Whether it be by participating in a fundraiser, volunteering or making a personal donation, thank you so much.
In particular, we want to recognize a parent who volunteered 60 hours of her time so her employer (Verizon) would donate a grant to Music Sponsor South. Another parent ran a fundraiser with a Theater Group and donated the proceeds to Music Sponsors South. another parent donated money for new music. We have a very generous group of parents both giving of their time and donations. Thank you!!! Because of this Music Sponsors South continues to support wonderful music program by at Middletown South.

First, it is my sincerest hope that all of you are doing well. I know that at our best right now, we are tired, cold and disconnected. The worst is unimaginable. I understand that some of you are anxious to hear if any decisions have been made concerning this weekend's USBands championships. While USBands has received clearence from Rutgers to hold the event this Sunday, with our schools closed until the 13th it is impossible for us to attend.
While this is disappointing, I feel that it is more important now to make sure that all of the members of our Band family, our South family, our Middletown family, and most importantly our own families are safe and sound.
I am posting this message to as many of the facebook groups as I can and will send it out via text to the leadership to help spread the word. The district servers are down so I do not have access to that email account, but if you get a chance and have the means, drop me a line at email@example.com , comment here, or find me on facebook and message me to let me know that you guys are okay. I'll be running my generator of and on as long as I have gas.
